Call for nominations!

It's that time of year again, the NEACHMM 2017 Election for BOD members will be going out at the end of October. We are looking for the Vice-President/President Elect and Secretary positions as well as Directors-At-Large to be filled (see descriptions below). We on the BOD are on the search for new participants to help us grow our Chapter. Serving on your Chapter's BOD gives you CMPs for your recertification, opens new opportunities for networking and it looks great on a resume. So if you are interested or know someone who would be (must be a CHMM) please send your nomination to admin@neachmm.org!

Vice-President (President-Elect)

The vice-president, who is elected to serve one year and is expected to serve as President the following year, presides over Chapter meetings in the absence of the President and ensures the development and execution of an appropriate annual educational program for the Chapter. The Vice-President will also serve as the Nominations Committee Chairperson responsible for leading the development of the general election ballot for the forthcoming year.

The secretary, who is elected to a term of two years in alternating years from the Treasurer, documents Chapter and Board meetings and is responsible for: maintaining and updating Chapter records; keeping a current copy of the Chapter membership and mailing lists; documenting Chapter-sponsored training; and managing the mailing of official notices to the membership.

Directors-At-Large elected by the membership for a one-year term and a minimum of (2) are to be elected annually. The Director-At-Large duties consist of assisting in the development of operating plans, assisting in the preparation of budgets and serving on or chairing Chapter committees.
